1. Mempersiapkan sampel untuk pemeriksaan dan pengujian di laboratorium. 2. Melakukan pengambilan dan penanganan sampel. 3. Mempersiapkan, memilih, serta menguji kualitas bahan atau reagen yang digunakan. 4. Mempersiapkan, memilih, menggunakan, memelihara, mengkalibrasi, serta menangani alat secara sederhana alat laboratorium. 5. Memilih dan menggunakan metode pengujian. 6. Melakukan pengujian atau analisis pada sampel. 7. Mengerjakan prosedur dalam pemantapan mutu. 8. Membuat laporan hasil pengujian atau analisis di laboratorim. 9. Melakukan verifikasi terhadap proses pemeriksaan laboratorium. 10. Menilai normal tidaknya hasil pemeriksaan untuk dikonsultasikan kepada yang berwenang. 11. Memberikan informasi hasil pengujian laboratorium secara analitis.
